So I watched a documentary about James Bond last night. And I thought of questions to pose to this group. Will Beyonce ever write & perform a Bond song and what would it sound like?

There are few things in pop culture as big and as iconic as Beyonce and one of those things is James Bond. The franchise spans 25 films and has influenced cinema and music for the past 60years!

For those who don't know, perfoming & writing the theme song for a Bond film is one of the most exclusive and prestigious things you can do as a musician. The ultimate prize is an Oscar, and I think we can all agree there would be no contest if Beyonce was nominated.

I thought I would end this post with some trivia about the woman who made history with Bond songs:

13 women have performed a bond song

Shirley Bassey, the first female singer and black woman to perform a bond song, and did it 3 times!

3 songs have won oscars, and 2 of them were awarded to women: Adele & Billie Eilish
